It is part of our mission and promise to be connected with the community and charitable initiatives are very important to us. Since 2015, we have partnered with and supported The Lighthouse Program for Grieving Children, providing vacation experiences to help raise funds for this amazing organization. We have also supported, many times and in the same way, the Oakville Humane Society.
How and why did your decide to pursue your business?
I (and my entire family!) am super passionate about travel! There are so many ways to experience our amazing world and we love to provide every travel option. Whether it's overseas or close to home, we offer vacation packages, all-inclusive resorts, coach and rail tours, home and villa rentals, travel insurance, as well as flights, hotels, car rentals, activities and excursions.
Being such a travel bug, I enjoy sharing my experiences. I feel very lucky to have seen so many places and met so many amazing people. One of my favourite destinations is the Galapagos. My wife and I actually loved it so much we ventured back with our son! Hosting groups on river cruises sailing the Christmas Markets was also very exciting. We look forward to our Hosted Cruises in 2022 and 2023!
What are you most passionate about in your business?
Travel is my life! I am in the business 24/7 of talking and living travel. I seem to connect every movie or dinner to a vacation experience. I love sharing my passion for travel and cruises with others and couldn't imagine doing anything else (even after the most challenging last year and a half!). We are proud of how far we've come and are excited about how far we will go, together. Most of all, we look forward to sharing our passion for travel with you, our valued customers and fellow travel enthusiasts!
What do LOVE about Downtown Oakville?
Love the sense of community. Love that you can just go for a walk and buy something unique, whether it's a gift or a treat for yourself, from such a mix of businesses. Love that the Downtown captures all of your senses, like the smell of fresh baked goods and the sight of an absolutely stunning streetscape. I also love being so close to the lake - I'm always more relaxed near bodies of water. And, of course, the vibe - it's like no other.
Tell us something about yourself that might surprise others.
I have cruised over 112 times...and my 8-year old son has cruised over 22 times! And, I have 10 more cruises booked for the next few years!
