How and why did your decide to pursue your business?
My name is Manjit and I'm a Pharmacist and professional speaker who owned and operated a thriving pharmacy that did $20m in annual sales and employed >65 employees. I experienced burnout during the pandemic and had many colleagues and employees go through the same. I wanted to be a part of the solution. I pivoted to become a Certified Breathwork Facilitator and Heartmath Clinician. At Rx for Renewal, we provide evidence-based, yet holistic tools to help people live more balanced and productive lives.
What are you most passionate about in your business?
The ability and opportunity to help people manage burnout. By adjusting their mindset, regulating their nervous system and sleeping better, people can lead more productive and fulfilling lives. This impacts both their professional and personal lives. Being a part of this transformation fills my plate and is the reason I made the change from corporate life to developing Rx for Renewal.
What do you LOVE about Downtown Oakville?
The mixture of mom-and-pop local stores with established brands providing quality products and services to the community. Living a few minutes away, it is easy to pop in and out while enjoying the quality establishments.
