As of September 15, husband and wife dream-team Courtney and Stevie opened their doors and invite you to stop in on your next Downtown stroll! Having travelled and studied internationally (Nepal included!), Stevie shares his 30 years of knowledge and experience in providing amazing energy therapies and spiritual life coaching. They really do know how to make your visit with them the "best part of your day". Their shop is located at 300 Lakeshore Road East (unit 1 - lower level on the street).

ShineWaves Spirituality is a Metaphysical and New Age Gift Store, that provides energy therapies and progressive Spiritual Life Coaching. We utilize a mixture of multiple different modalities including Crystal Therapy, Singing Bowl Therapy, Zero Point Therapy, Shamanic Work, RMT Work, Acupuncture, and a range of different classes. These services will help clients achieve the ultimate balance of mind, body, and soul, with additional help from all of the metaphysical gifts and tools that aid that process being available within the store.
How and why did you decide to pursue your business?
During these difficult times we felt that it was important to provide a place and service to aid in the mental and emotional well-being of the public. We felt with the multiple years of knowledge and practice within this field that we have the correct tools and background to achieve our goals.
What are you most passionate about in your business?
We are most passionate about educating and coaching people of all ages about having a positive and healthy attitude in life. We want to coach people and give them the right tools, information, and support they require during these difficult unprecedented times. Our vision is to grow a community of like-minded people that help, teach, and assist each other where possible.
What do you LOVE about Downtown Oakville?
We were drawn into and fell in love with the close knit community and very family oriented vibe that downtown provides. The downtown area is appealing, professional, and well maintained. As we have lived in the area for multiple years, and have experienced all aspects of the fabulous events that downtown Oakville provides throughout the year, it was an easy and obvious choice to set up our store here.
Tell us something about yourself that might surprise others.
Something fun and exciting we are bringing to the store is my (Courtney's) Metis Heritage. We will be providing the community with products and gifts made from the Native communities as well as classes and seminars in the near future to give people the chance to support and learn the historical backbone of the Canadian culture.
