NEW! Downtown Oakville Historical Walk

Looking for a way to spend this leisurely Sunday?  Why not travel through time on the Downtown Oakville digital Historical Walk presented by the Oakville Historical Society in partnership with the Downtown Oakville BIA!

Discover 5 sidewalk decals throughout Downtown and scan the QR code to learn more about historic buildings and landmarks in Downtown Oakville. (Note: This is a self-led walking tour and free public WIFI is available Downtown.) 

Patio Downtown this Summer for your Chance to Win!

Visit a Downtown Patio between June 21 and August 31 and start collecting passport stamps for your chance to win.  We're giving away weekly food and drink prizes and a grand prize of a $500 Gift Card to the Downtown Oakville restaurant of your choice.

Each time you visit a participating* Downtown Oakville patio simply scan the QR code located on the table or the cover of your bill fold to collect a stamp.  The first time you scan a QR code you will be invited to create an account.   With each scan you will collect a stamp and are then automatically entered to win our weekly prize draws.  Collect 5 stamps to be placed in the grand prize draw.

Blueprint: Backing BIPOC Businesses™ - Mentorship and Grant Program

From now until July 26, applications are open for Blueprint: Backing BIPOC Businesses™, a mentorship and grant program from American Express, powered by the DMZ.

The program supports the advancement of Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) business owners across Canada through a comprehensive mentorship program, plus a $10,000 grant to help take their business to the next level.

Bandshell Sunset Music Series Coming to Lakeside Park in August

A new music series - the Bandshell Sunset Series - is running a musical family-friendly event in Lakeside Park each evening on Sunday August 7th, 14th and 21st. The event features three local acts that will perform from the gazebo facing our beautiful Lake Ontario from 4-8pm.  A perfect way to cap off your summer weekends this August!  More details to come very soon!
