Thanks to John Ziemba for his many years of serving on the BIA Board!
After many years of serving as a volunteer with the Downtown Oakville BIA, John Ziemba, owner of Black Forest Bakery, is ending his term with the Board.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, the BIA team, and our members, we'd like to express our sincere gratitude to John for all of his passion and his contributions to our community over the past years.
Over the years, John has volunteered his time and expertise to support the BIA team and Board in so many ways. John has always been the 'voice of the merchants', clearly and passionately representing his fellow members. He played a key role in bringing the BIA's new vision and brand strategy to life. John's insights, humour, passion (and cookies at the meetings!) will be missed by the Board, team, and community alike. We wish him the very best in what is to come.
Please join us in thanking John for his many contributions over the years to the Downtown Oakville BIA. He will most certainly be missed. But, of course, you can still find him at Black Forest Bakery!
