Downtown Oakville's Window Wonderland Contest Rules

1. Eligibility: This contest is open to all legal residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who are of the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry.

2. Contest Period: The contest begins on November 17 and ends on December 31, 2023.

3. How to Enter: Participants must visit participating Downtown Oakville businesses and view their holiday window displays. To enter, participants must scan the QR code at the window and provide their contact information. One entry per person, per window display, is permitted.

4. Selection of Winner: Entries will be entered into a grand prize draw. The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the contest period. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

5. Prize: The grand prize winner will receive 1 (one) $250.00 Downtown Oakville Gift Card.  .

6. Notification: The selected entrant will be notified by email. If the selected entrant cannot be contacted within five (5) business days or fails to respond to the notification, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

7. Skill-Testing Question: The selected winner must correctly answer a skill-testing question in order to claim the prize.

8. Consent to Marketing: By participating in this contest, entrants provide consent to receive marketing emails from Downtown Oakville. Entrants may unsubscribe from these emails at any time.

9. General Conditions: This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

10. Release and Limitations of Liability: By participating in this contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the contest sponsor, its respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the contest or receipt or use of the prize.

11. Personal Information: By entering this contest, entrants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information for the purposes of administering the contest and prize fulfillment, as well as receiving marketing communications as stated above.

12. Sponsor: The contest is sponsored by Downtown Oakville Business Improvement Area (BIA), whose decisions regarding the selection of winners and all other aspects of the contest shall be final and binding in all respects.
