Join us this International Women's Day for "TogetHER in Downtown Oakville," an enlightening celebration dedicated to showcasing the remarkable journeys of female entrepreneurs who have made significant strides in their industries. This event features a panel discussion with three inspiring women: 

Ruth Tal, the visionary founder of Fresh Kitchen + Juice Bar and a pioneer in Toronto's plant-based restaurant scene; Haley Bogaert, the dynamic force behind 

HB Face, who transformed personal tragedy into a thriving beauty boutique known for its innovative approach in a booming industry; and Christine Peters, the creative mind behind Lemonwood, who has redefined affordable luxury in Canadian fashion by emphasizing sustainable and ethically made clothing. Each panelist brings a unique story of entrepreneurship, innovation, and resilience, offering attendees a look into the challenges and triumphs of building a successful businesses.

The discussion will delve into a myriad of topics, including the initial inspirations that led these women to embark on their entrepreneurial paths, the pivotal moments and strategic decisions that shaped their businesses, and the ways in which they've navigated the challenges of maintaining work-life balance, fostering innovation, and leading with a focus on sustainability and ethical practices. This event is not only a celebration of International Women's Day but also a testament to the power of female leadership and the impact of women in traditionally male-dominated sectors. The Downtown Oakville BIA will donate 100% of ticket proceeds to the Oakville Zonta Club. Zonta International is a leading global organization of professionals empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy. The Oakville Club work raises funds to assist women in the Halton community and internationally.
