The Downtown Oakville BIA is collaborating with businesses and shop owners to offer residents and visitors a variety of fall-inspired events and activities this October, perfect for the whole family.
Tails & Treats – Oct. 22
From 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. head on over to Towne Square with your four-legged friends to pick up a bag and shell out for treats at participating shops and services. Plus enjoy Doga (that's dog yoga), agility demonstrations, visit our pup-up marketplace and enter the costume contest with your pup. All proceeds support the Oakville Humane Society.
Urban Pumpkin Patch – Oct. 22-23
Bring the family to Centennial Square (Navy/Lakeshore) to pick your pumpkin from our urban pumpkin patch and pose for an Instagram moment. Bring the kids for story time, songs, and season crafts from the Oakville Public Library. Pumpkins are available for a minimum donation of $10 with all funds raised supporting the Oakville Milton Humane Society. Tap to pay will make purchasing an easy way to support this worthy cause. Pumpkin Patch runs Saturday October 22 and 23 from 10AM to 5PM
Pumpkin Pop-up – Oct. 29-30
Join us once again for our Pumpkin Pop-up Experience. Stroll our extra-wide sidewalks to see all of the creative pumpkins our local business owners will be putting on display. Vote for your favourite pumpkin for your chance to win a $200 Downtown Oakville gift card. All weekend long during store hours.
Tiny Tots – Oct. 31
From 10 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. spend Halloween morning trick-or-treating through Downtown Oakville with your little ones at participating merchants along Lakeshore and side streets. Stop by Towne Square to pick up a Downtown Oakville bag before you head out to shell out.
