About Pizza Nest
Pizza Nest in Oakville serves artisanal hand-stretched pizza made with the finest “00” wheat flour from Naples and Natural spring water from Florence and is fermented naturally for a minimum of fifty-four hours with an ancient slow rising biga recipe. It is baked at 450 degree Celsius in our modern Moretti Forni stone oven assembled on site. Pizza Nest specializes in serving hand-stretch gourmet pizzas, seasonal salads, secondi and Italian desserts with a selection of local craft beers and honest wines. The unique thin-crust hand-stretched Napoli style pizzas are second to none. Their menu also offers vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. Taste = Delicious!
How and why did you decide to pursue your business?
Pizza Nest is owned by Tarun, a Post Graduate in Hospitality and Tourism management from Niagara College. Tarun has been working for various Italian restaurants and catering companies in Ontario since 2014 where he was leading the team of chefs and successfully managed the operations. Through his intense career journey and industry expertise he came up with the idea to start an artisan pizzeria in downtown Oakville.

What do you LOVE about Downtown Oakville?
How can you not love Downtown Oakville?! It is a charming, small historical town with great boutiques, restaurants, cafes and bakeries. In the winter there is a gorgeous magical Ribbon tree and beautiful decorations and during the summer there are beautiful flower arrangements. And, it’s located just one block from the water so you can keep strolling and check out the lake front park as well!
