Join us on October 10th for Downtown Unplugged, a special event designed to help you disconnect from your devices and reconnect with the people around you. Experience a day featuring yoga, mindful meditation, phone-free activities, and cafe game nights, along with tech-free suppers at participating restaurants. It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy a more mindful, screen-free day with your friends, family, and community. This is a phone-free event. Upon arrival, you’ll be asked to silence your phone and place it in a Yondr pouch, which will securely lock your device while you hold onto it throughout the event. If you need to use your phone, you can have it unlocked at a designated Yondr Station located away from the phone-free spaces. All phones will be unlocked at the end of the event. To reserve your spot, a donation to the Canadian Mental Health Association is required. You choose the amount per person, and all proceeds will support mental health initiatives.
